Our mission for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals® fundraising is simple and has been consistent for more than 30 years – to raise critical funds through in-store donation programs and through the Annual Miracle Tournament. The funds raised help ensure every child in need throughout the communities we serve receives the best possible care. The Annual Miracle Tournament continues to serve as the centerpiece of our fundraising efforts for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals®. Thank you for your support!

By sharing their personal stories, these children are living examples of the incredible work happening at Children's Miracle Network Hospitals® member hospitals throughout the country – and why your support of this event is so critical. Treated at Boston Children’s Hospital in Boston, MA.

Baby Georgia’s life was threatened by a mysterious illness, causing pain and preventing her from eating normally. After weeks of uncertainty at other hospitals, doctors at Boston Children’s Hospital diagnosed her with a rare intestinal disorder. Multiple surgeries and expert care saved her life. Amidst the challenges and many long hospital stays, Georgia found comfort and joy in the hospital’s Child Life program, celebrating birthdays and holidays with the dedicated staff. Today, Georgia is a vibrant and active girl, defying and embracing her unique journey.

Amelia’s journey began with a premature birth and a worrying note from her birth mother. The attentive care at the Rees-Jones Center for Foster Care Excellence at Children’s Health quickly identified a heart issue requiring surgery. Though her heart was repaired, developmental delays persisted. Thanks to the persistence of her care team and early interventions supported by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Amelia was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Through therapies and unwavering support, she defied expectations, walking without braces and even playing soccer.

Yet, thanks to the expertise of Dr. Harold Burkhart and his team at the member children’s hospital, Kayd received not only exceptional medical treatment but also emotional support that fostered positive experiences. Their dedication, along with support from Children’s Health Foundation and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, ensured that Kayd felt safe and cared for throughout her journey, allowing her fighting spirit to shine through.

Despite her health challenges, Rylee pursues her passion for dance, competing regionally and nationally. She dreams of becoming a Pediatric Physical Therapist, continuing to inspire and uplift others.

Dr. Carl St. Remy, a pediatric orthopedic surgeon, expertly performed spine surgery, preventing paralysis. After months of dedicated physical therapy, Parker Rose is back to cheerleading and tumbling, a testament to the exceptional care she received at CHKD and her own incredible resilience.

A seemingly simple ankle sprain at age 14 launched Allie on an unexpected medical journey. When her injury didn't heal as expected, it led to a series of tests and procedures at CHRISTUS Children's. Thanks to the attentiveness of her physical therapist, Dr. Shawn Funk, and the neurology team, including Dr. Jose Aceves, Allie was diagnosed with dystonia, a rare neurological movement disorder. What could have taken years to diagnose was discovered in a matter of months, allowing Allie to receive the specialized care she needed. Now 17, Allie is an advocate for accessibility and grateful for the team that supported her through this challenging experience.

Maxx's journey began with a prenatal diagnosis that turned excitement into fear. Born with a hole in her diaphragm, Maxx’s organs pushed into her chest placing her heart on the wrong side of her body and threatening her lung development. At just three days old, she underwent life-saving surgery. Thanks to the expert care at Cohen Children’s Medical Center the surgery was successful! Maxx still comes to the hospital but with the support of the Child Life program, she has overcome her fear of needles and other challenges. Today, despite having severe asthma, she’s a vibrant 8-year-old who loves swimming, rock climbing, and giving epic hugs.

Treated at Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth, TX.

At just 3 years old, doctors at Cook Children’s diagnosed Marlee with stage IV neuroblastoma, a type of cancer that forms in nerve cells. When Marlee’s body did not respond to the initial course of treatment, her doctors suggested a more aggressive approach. She underwent two bone marrow transplants, radiation and immunotherapy. She spent time in our pediatric intensive care unit after suffering acute complication of the liver and underwent surgery for a stricture in her intestine. In 2022, Marlee’s scans showed no evidence of disease, but in 2023 doctors discovered that her cancer had returned. The Child Life program provides a place of comfort for Marlee, offering play, celebration, and creative expression. Now 7 years old, Marlee continues her battle and continues to live her life to the fullest; she rides horses, plays with friends and shares her story as a Cook Children’s patient ambassador.

But at Corewell Health Children’s, she found comfort and joy through the pet therapy program. Olive and Millie, the therapy dogs, became her constant companions, easing her anxiety and bringing smiles during difficult procedures. Today, Kennedy is in remission, her spirit as bright as ever, and she dreams of becoming a veterinarian, inspired by the furry friends who helped her through her journey.

But at Gillette Children's, with support from Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, things changed. ZaLayaa Jazahara discovered the joy of movement and play through adaptive sports and accessible playgrounds. At Gillette, her truth, "See Me," took on new meaning. ZaLayaa Jazahara is a champion, embracing a life full of possibilities and showing everyone that even with challenges, kids can still have fun and achieve great things.

Libbiana (Libbi) was nearly 2 years old when her world was shaken by news that she had a rare and aggressive cancer, Wilms Tumor. She received treatment at Golisano Children’s Hospital, and just when she thought she was cancer-free, the tumor had returned. The next few years were a whirlwind. Libbi had her kidney removed, endured more than 70 weeks of chemotherapy and 20 days of radiation, survived four cardiac arrests, spent 12 days connected to a machine to help her breathe, spent four weeks in critical care, had more than 40 blood and platelet transfusions, and received hundreds of tests, therapies and additional treatments to keep her alive. Today, Libbi is cancer-free and a testament to the specialized care at children’s hospitals like Golisano.

Now 15, she embraces life with passion, enjoying time with her sisters, playing basketball, traveling, and playing guitar. Ava's journey inspires others and proves that even the tiniest of fighters can overcome incredible obstacles.

Maddie's journey with cystic fibrosis began at birth. Days after arriving, she was transferred to the NICU at OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital for a bowel obstruction. Two years later, her brother, Max, faced a similar diagnosis. Growing up with cystic fibrosis, Maddie and Max have found strength and support in their shared experiences and the exceptional care received at Doernbecher.
